1. Characteristic Analysis of Problems in Sound Engineering


To "prescribe the right medicine", let's first take a look at the "commonalities" of the problems existing in numerous sound projects.


According to the characteristics of sound engineering, many sound problems generally don't appear in the construction process. In many cases, sound problems mostly appear in the debugging stage of sound equipment, or after the sound equipment is installed for a period of time, there will be many minor problems.


Sometimes, some of the original sound failures will disappear inexplicably, but I don't know when this kind of situation will happen again. I believe that many sound engineers feel the same way about this kind of experience. There are various forms of these minor problems, but as long as you guarantee that the sound design is correct, there is only one root cause of these failures, that is, minor omissions in the construction of sound engineering.

① The lighting is out of control.


In sound engineering, sometimes the phenomenon of uncoordinated, uncontrolled or wrong movement of lights will occur. Although a slight out-of-control lighting will not affect the normal operation, if the problem is not solved for a long time, then this minor fault is likely to turn into a major one. Furthermore, any performance will not tolerate the phenomenon of out-of-control lighting.




② The shell of audio equipment is charged.


The operation of sound engineering must use electricity, so the problem of electrified sound equipment shell often occurs when the sound equipment is debugged. Although this is not a big problem, it will endanger the safety of staff in serious cases, which can't be ignored.




③ The video image display is not normal.


Generally, the video transmission distance in professional sound engineering is relatively long. Usually, after the video processing and distribution, the signal is sent to multiple display devices, and there are many links in the middle. The video image quality may be poor for different reasons, which may affect the viewing effect, so it should be processed.




④ Resonance and feedback occur in the sound field.


Although careful consideration has been given to the design and construction of sound engineering, it is inevitable that there are some incomplete and unpredictable places, and the occurrence of this problem will definitely affect the normal use and should be eliminated.




⑤ The sound of wireless microphone is unstable.


At present, most sound projects are equipped with wireless microphones, but due to improper installation and debugging, a considerable number of them are in poor condition, especially at the performance site. The working condition of wireless microphones will directly affect the performance quality, so this is a problem that cannot be ignored.


⑥ Sound system volume is insufficient.


When debugging sound engineering, we often encounter the phenomenon that the volume of the sound is always small and can't meet the requirements of the designed sound pressure level, which indicates that there are problems in the installation and setup of the equipment.




⑦, produce interference noise.


There are many times of interference noise in sound engineering, and the causes are different, so it is usually very troublesome to solve it. However, the problem can always be solved by careful analysis, finding the reasons from the construction of the system and analyzing step by step.




⑧ The bulb of computer lamp is often damaged.


Although bulb damage is a normal phenomenon, it should not be a normal phenomenon if it occurs after a short time of use. In particular, the bulb price of computer lamps is generally more expensive, and frequent replacement will increase less overhead. The life of computer lamps with better quality should generally be more than 750 hours. If the bulb is damaged due to operation errors that are not firm and durable, it should be searched if the use time is lower than this requirement. After installation for a period of time, there will be many minor problems.
